Remco Evenepoel, the defending Vuelta Espana champion and 2022 Road World Champion rides the latest S-Works Tarmac SL8 at the 2023 Vuelta Espana.

The S-Works Tarmac SL8 is the eighth generation of Specialized’s top-of-the-line road racing bike. It was launched on 6 August 2023, the same day as the Elite Men’s Road Race. Find out the differences between the Tarmac SL8 vs SL7.

Remco Evenepoel’s S-Works Tarmac SL8 has the same specifications as the ones currently available from Specialized. It’s equipped with the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, Roval Rapid CLX II, and the new Roval Rapide Cockpit.

The only differences are the larger 54/40T chainrings, S-Works Power Mirror saddle. It’s worth noting that Remco uses the 5mm offset S-Works seatpost in an inverted position.
